nnnnnnnnnnnnNamibia!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 2 day walk at Cape Point, South Africa was incredible. Partly the flora which is as diverse as the rainforests in South America, partly the wild coastline of both the atlantic and the indian ocean, partly the wicked hut we stayed in which was more like a small house and partly because we saw wildlife for the first time in Africa!!! - ostriches, baboons (a bit of a close encounter!), tiny tortoises, snakes, and antelope like creatures we cant ID yet. I wont dwell on the 100km winds we had to walk against for 20km however :) grrr.

We discovered how fabulous the Namibian folk were when we were 3 hours late arriving at the border, and our lift was still waiting for us (at 10:30pm), what a legend. He drove us to Abiqua River Camp where we chilled (sweated) for a day and a half while we waited to find someone to drive us north :) long story short, we got a lift for 2 days! got to see Ai Ais hot springs and sunrise over Fish River Canyon and hang with some cool american dudes as well. bonus. Saw zebras!

Still in Namibia we are now on the coast ooohhh la la. splurged on a day tour to Sandwich Harbour where the desert meets the atlantic ocean with 400feet high sand dunes. wow. wow. wow. Thousands of flamingos, and other birdlife. This place is a gem, hard to describe such a surreal sight, hope photos do it justice! Until next time......hope all is well in your part of the world!
